Congratulations to Frank Cline, Fairgreens Golf Club 2010 Men's Champion. Frank shot a 68, 70, and 68 to take the title. In blistering temperatures Frank shot 31 on his final 9 of 27! Well done Frank!

May 27th 2010 - Fairgreens Ladies Golf Clinic
Fairgreens Ladies Golf Association is sponsoring a Ladies Workshop and Scramble for all women who would like to learn the game of golf or just work on their skills.

Cost for Joining the Fairgreens Ladies Association is $20.00 per year which entitled you to play at the same rates as Fairgreens Ladies Association Members.

The clinic will be held at 5:30pm. Tee off for the scramble will be 6:00pm. The cost for the weekly workshop and scramble for non-members is $10.00 + $7.50 cart fee for 9 holes.

May 27th 2010 - Fairgreens Junior Golf League

Fairgreens Junior Golf League will be forming this summer. This league will meet on Monday afternoons. The cost to belong to the league will be $10.00. Foursomes will be drawn at 12:15 and you will play a 9-hole tournament. The game will vary each week (low gross, low putts, etc).

For Fairgreens Members: You must be participating in/or have participated in the Junior Golf Program at Fairgreens and be at least in the Red Level or above. If you have not participated in the program you must be able to score 63 or better from the Red tees.

For Non-Club members: Along with the $10.00 fee to join the league you will pay green fees of $7.50. You must be participating in/or have participated in the Junior Golf Program at Fairgreens and be at least in the Red Level or above. If you have not participated in the program you must be able to score 63 or better from the Red tees.

At the end of July (to be announced), the Junior League members will play an 18-hole tournament to determine the 2010 Fairgreens Golf Club Junior Champion and Runner-up.

Sign up for Fairgreens Junior Golf League will be Monday 7th June at the Club house. If you have any questions, please ring Fairgreens on 286 4242.

May 26th 2010 - Come Play ! In our Summer Weekend Scrambles starting on Friday 4th June and Saturday 5th June ''Swingles' Friday Night Scramble starts on 4th June or Come Play come play in our Saturday Swindle Scramble from 5th June cost $15.00 per person for 9 holes.

See you at 6:00pm - no need to call ahead - Open to All Swingles and Swindlers who love to play fun golf. Its an Ideal Date Night/Family night, bring your lover or your mother or we will fix you up with a game - its a fun night for all.Never played golf? It doesn't matter - we will match you with some hot shots and turn you loose - just remember to wear golf shoes or tennis shoes - no street shoes are allowed on the course. We also have clubs and balls for a modest rental fee.See you soon!
